Presidential exploratory committees in the US are already hard at work preparing for the 2020 campaign. Some candidates have already announced their runs.
Elizabeth Warren, Massachusetts Sen., has already announced her candidacy. Julian Castro, Former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, has also established an exploratory committee.
2020 Campaign Betting Favorites
OddsShark, a betting resource tracking odds from different sites, called Donald Trump a betting favorite. He is the favorite for the upcoming presidential election (+220). California Sen. Kamala Harris (+500) and Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke (+900), Democratic nominees, are his potential competitors.
Since 2016, odds on Trump re-election are the highest. The potential Democratic contenders have the lowest odds while the Democrats are the betting favorites (-150). The odds of the Republicans have their high level at +120.
People are sure that he will be the Republican party nominee, but nobody knows who will be the lead the Democratic party. Nevertheless, it is still the favorite for winning the presidential elections in 2020.
Big Changes In Bets In Recent Weeks
Michael Bloomberg’s announcement to take part in the elections despite his age raised the stakes by +2500. Tulsi Gabbard, a Democrat from Hawaii, has also announced her campaign. At the same time, Bernie Sanders’ odds fell to +2000.
Some other popular candidates being bet on include Dwayne Johnson (+5000), Oprah Winfrey (+3500), Joe Rogan (+20000) and even Elon Musk.
