Black Mamba Slot Review (Play’n GO) – Another Rock Band Branded Slot

With 2 albums polished enough to replace your favorite riff-centered earworms from the 80s and 90s, Black Mamba, a famed Italian rock band, has collaborated with Play’N Go to bring you a brand new slot musical named after them. Considering that branded slots are usually reserved for more well-known artists, such as the Village People, this slot is a nice addition to the usual brands.

Wins of up to 5000X your bet will be served up alongside Martin Coris’s perfectly balanced vocals while Cecilia Nappo weaves up the much-needed gameplay tension with Rickenbacker branded bass strings. Alexandra Mailo will also come in with her zestful guitar melodies that will blend perfectly with Fred Maragoni’s killer drumset grooves to complete this cash-laden extravaganza rhythmically.

Black Mamba Rules

The wild & whacked-out rock music and the grid, which is set to look like a rock and roll stage, immediately lets you know that you are in for one hell of a concert. Use the bet selector at the foot of the grid to select your preferred entry fee and click the large spin button for a chance to double your cash. You can also use the auto spin button to preset up to 100 back-to-back spins.

With each spin, symbols will fall from the top all at once to occupy the 5X5 grid. While a pair of headphones, microphones, the head of a snake, and a set of drum sticks & a cymbal are the low-value symbols offering up to 1.5X, Alexandra, Cecilia, and Fred are the high paying symbols offering up to 5X. There is also a normal wild (enraged snake) and X2 wild (Martina), which on top of replacing all other symbols to complete winning combinations, will pay up to 25X and 50X respectively.

After a round’s win has been evaluated, all the symbols that triggered the win disappear from the grid to leave empty spaces. These spaces are then occupied by the symbols above them, which could result in new winning combinations and even more empty spaces.

Concert Feature

Clearing 4-6 medium paying symbols charges up the meter on the bottom left. When the meter is full, each band member will perform a solo that will trigger a special feature on the grid.
While rocking her guitar with one leg up, Alexandra destroys 2 sets of symbols on the grid. When Alexandra is done, Cecilia places up to 2 wilds on the grid while sending out a rock on gesture to her fans.

Next up, Fred raises his drumsticks in anticipation to transform all appearances of a randomly selected symbol into another. Finally, Martina’s beautiful vocals make all the symbols on the bottom row of the grid to disappear while also replacing any of the other band member’s symbols with her own.

Solo Features

To transform a non-winning normal spin into a winner, the active member inside the small stage on the right side of the grid might perform a solo. The game’s mechanism will select Alexandria, Cecilia, and Fred randomly to act as the base game’s active member.

Bonus Round

If you manage to clear all the symbols on the grid with a combo of wins, you will be awarded 8 free spins. The member who was active during the base game will perform a solo after each non-winning round, but Martina will perform hers after every free spin. You can also get 2-4 additional free spins or activate the concert feature by charging the meter.

Multipliers will be carried over to this session as progressive multipliers and reset on each spin. You will also be awarded 50X your bet if you manage to clear the grid before the free spins are exhausted.
