Moolah’s Jackpot Player Is Taking Home 10.7 Million Euros
One Lucky Player Is Taking Home Mega Moolah’s Massive Jackpot of €10.7 Million

Mega Moolah is a popular jackpot slot that was created by Microgaming in 2006. This slot created its first millionaire back in 2008 and has since paid out millions upon millions of euros to ordinary players, making them instant multimillionaires. In fact, the slot’s Mega Jackpot was triggered 12 times in 2019 and paid out €51.8 million. Approximately €26 million has been won so far in 2020, with over 150 people receiving sums greater than €10,000. Over the jackpot’s lifetime, it has issued over €1,100,000,000 in winnings. Because of the generosity of their payouts, Mega Moolah wins consistently rank at the top of the lists of the biggest online slot payouts.

On April 5th, 2020, Mega Moolah blessed a player with a jackpot of approximately €10.7 million! Afterward, there was €4.5 million left in the jackpot, which has since grown to €6.10 million. You can track the growth of the jackpot here.

If you are curious about how you could win such a huge jackpot, it’s best to learn how the slot operates. The Mega Moolah game implements a system of four progressive jackpots, which are named Mega, Major, Minor, and Mini. According to developer Microgaming, Mega Moolah’s progressive system guarantees all players an equal opportunity of winning.

All wins on the Mega Moolah network are paid out as one lump sum after all verification checks are completed. Every win is paid in the currency that the player had used in the game. However, on the day of the win or at payout, the sum is converted to EUR. This is because most casinos and slot jackpots must aggregate customer currency transactions.

Microgaming’s Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Lucas, gave his congratulations to the player who won the €10.7 million jackpot. He stated that, due to Mega Moolah’s worldwide popularity, the company is planning on adding more progressive games throughout the rest of 2020.

In February 2020, Microgaming released two progressive jackpot games: Wheel of Wishes and Atlantean Treasures Mega Moolah. The former is inspired by Arabian Nights and features the revamped “WowPot!”, which is a progressive jackpot system that is now more valuable than its previous version and is seeded at €2,000,000. The 10-pay line slot that has two modes: standard and “Power Mode”. Atlantean Treasures also utilizes a 10-pay line slot in which players can win both ways across the reels.

Microgaming is going to release “Absolootly Mad Mega Moolah” on May 5th. This jackpot slot, designed by Triple Edge Studios, will have 5 reels and 243 pay lines. Admittedly the game will have a 92.02% Return to Player (RTP), but that disappointment could be offset by the progressive jackpot’s contribution.

As you can see, 2020 is going to be a growth-filled year for Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network. We will keep you updated if there are any new slots slated for release later in the year.
