Electric Elephant gets it right with the overall look as usual. You can almost visualize 221b baker street with what they have conjured up in the background, right before the playing area delivers the real wow factor with its cogwheels. It’s a decent work of art overall, finished off by the playful characters gracing the reels.
Players can join the furry detectives with bets ranging from 0.2 to 100 Euros. As for the rest of the stats, players get a 96.21% RTP rating and a medium volatility setting, which tends to lean more towards the high side. That’s judging by the frequency of wins.

Typical of Electric Elephant, there isn’t much to get in the way during the base game, other than the primary feature. Good thing the developer chose the player-favorite 243 ways to win format for base play, meaning that the regulars could end up delivering a few surprises.
Speaking of regulars, they include blackjack icons K & A, a smoking pipe, Fresnel lens, paw, dog, and cat. Wearing a monocle, the last-mentioned is the highest-paying, racking up 10x for five-of-a-kind.
Rolling Re-spins™
This is the primary feature, activated whenever you land a wild symbol on the second, third, fourth, or fifth reel. Wilds are represented by the star canine, seemingly the most resolute with his Fresnel lens and detective attire. So, what happens?
A bonus reel unlocks right below the playing area and spins. The wild expands and sticks in place for re-spins (only if the result is a bone directly underneath it). Re-spins continue until there is a win.
After each win, sticky-wilds move one position to the left as a new row is added at the top of the grid, increasing the winning ways up to a whopping 16807. A fully maxed-out grid has four rows on top.
It is possible to earn additional wilds during rolling re-spins. That happens when you land a new wild and a bone directly beneath it.
Note: Rolling Re-spins will continue until all wilds have walked off the grid. Also, if a bone fails to land beneath a wild, that wild will expand towards the top to help complete a winning combination (if any is available).
Sherlock Bones- Our Verdict
Like a typical Electric Elephant release, Sherlock Bones suffers from feature deficiency. That is despite having a setup that would have been perfect for a myriad of unique features. There are a couple of things going for it though. First is the atypical number of winning ways that put superb wins of 10000x+ on the player’s path. The second and final is the unique and entertaining rendering both visually and aurally, which makes a player want to take spin after spin.
