The US 2020 presidential elections’ primary democratic debate has just wrapped up, and it has put major democratic candidates on stage. Among all candidates, the current US President Donald Trump remains an odds favorite among online bookmakers, and chances of re-election come 2020 are high. His odds have slightly improved after the debate from +110 to +105.
Among the rest of the major Democratic candidates, three have consistently registered as frontrunners in the previous polls. Among them are Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and the former vice president Joe Biden.
Democratic Candidates Presidential Odds
Elizabeth Warren has topped in the polls, and she is the odds favorite presidential democratic candidate after Trump. Her odds have improved slightly from +425 to +400.
Joe Biden was trailing Warren, with his odds dropping from +500 to +550. The reason for the drop in his odds may be due to his frequent questioning that he might be too old for a presidential post.
Bernie Sanders has consistently been among the top in the polls, and this time he trailed Biden. His odds stood at +900 during the last debate. Kamala Harris has tussled to be among the top favorite candidates, and this time she played new tricks to try improving her odds. She avoided attacking other aspiring candidates in the last debate, and instead, she preferred attacking the current US President Trump. However, she did not do that much, and her odds stood at +1600.
Among the top five candidates, Mayer Peter remained poetic on stage, and he stuck to the basic requirements of Democratic primary voters. His ideas did not change peoples mind though, and his odds stood at +1600.
In other news, it is hard to ignore the performance of the other candidates who were present for the debate. Julian Castro odds remain +10000, even after attacking Joe Biden hard on the stage. Corey Booker did not do that much, and his focus on the stage was to get laughs, his odds stood as +6000. O’Rourke chances of winning a presidential election remain dim, even after promising to take away AK-47s and AR-15s. After Yang saying he knows some doctors, his odds have improved from +1800 to +1500.
The recent debate did not give fundamental dynamics on the presidential race, as the same candidates seem to remain the top favorite in the previous polls consistently. As for now, Donald Trump remains the favorite presidential candidate for democrats, according to bookmakers.
