Casino Suing VIP Player for A$42M Responds

There have been some developments to the recent story of an Australian casino suing a VIP high-roller for 42m Australian dollars ($30.6m).

The Star Gold Coast casino representative has responded to the defendant’s claims that there was an error on behalf of the Baccarat dealer. They claimed that they were “disappointed” that the issue had to be resolved in the High Court of Singapore.

The claims from Wong Yew Choy, who is being sued, were not commented by the casino, but The Star Entertainment Group (casino operator) says that their position is “extremely robust”.

As Gambling Insider reports, they have contacted Mr. Wong’s lawyer for comment.
