Play’N Go has released a new slot – Contact. The release is especially interesting due to unorthodox slot layout, game mechanics and fully-rendered 3D layout of the slot.
Despite the unapparent name, the slot is another addition to the Mayan/Aztec theme of slot games (much like the ever-popular Gonzo’s Quest, which we recently featured in the list of our top slots). Having been presented at London iGaming 2019 conference, online casino players have long expected the slot to come out and now, they can finally lay their eyes on it.

Game Mechanics
Contact is another slot that uses the avalanche mechanic, more commonly known as cluster mechanic.
Whenever a combination of 5 or more symbols occurs, all the other symbols disappear, allowing for more symbols to fall. This is a contrast to most cluster slots, such as Viking Wilds, where instead the matching symbols disappear.
The layout and the stats of the game are the following:
- 5 reels
- 7 rows
- 0 pay lines (pay from clusters)
- RTP – 96.55%
- Max win – 151 750
- High Variance
The bonuses revolve around the multipliers that will increase the win if a certain row is filled.
Filling certain rows also awards the player with a symbol upgrade, which turns the stacking symbols into the next best symbols, or with a block destroyer that will eliminate the multiplier, so that a bigger multiplier from the top could fall down.
As to the free spins, it is activated if at least one reel is filled all the way to the top, as the scatters are absent from the game.
Graphics & Music
As mentioned, Contact is a fully 3D slot game. This might not seem like a big advantage, but when compared to most other 2D slots, the scale and point of view that can be achieved with a full render is obvious.
The camera angle in the game makes the experience more impressive and epic in scale, as opposed to most slots. The animations hold up and together with the overall graphics, provide a truly exceptional visual presentation.
The music only adds to the whole immersion, as tropical tunes create a great atmosphere.
Even though the cluster mechanic might not suit all players, as the winning potential is not as high as with regular pay lines of typical slots, the visual presentation is definitely worth giving Contact a shot.
