Double Up

WELCOME BONUS

Doubling up is a betting strategy that involves doubling your bet after each loss. In essence, doubling up is just another term for the Martingale system, where a player tries to cover their previous losses by doubling their bet. The player does so until they win.

Maximum bets (bet ceilings) are seen by some as being a measure against the abuse of the Martingale double up by players.

Usage Example (Blackjack)

Game result:

  1. $5 bet – loss (-$5)
  2. $10 bet – loss (-$10)
  3. $20 bet – loss (-$20)
  4. $40 bet – win (+$80)

Final winnings: $80 – $35 = $45

As can be seen from this example, the Martingale system is very effective. However, some people are afraid of it because of how fast is scales. Many of these players instead choose to bet using the less risky D’Alembert system.
