Even if you’re new to Bob Casino, you know that there is no shortage of classic casino games such as Blackjack, Roulette or Baccarat.
However, there are a few simpler ones that are much more straightforward. They’re easy to play and don’t wreck your nerves like a lot of the complicated high stakes betting games.
We have compiled the rules of Draw Hi-Lo and Top Card Trumps. Simple card games that you can play on Bob Casino to take some rest from the intensity of the bigger games.
Draw Hi-Lo Rules
Have you ever stumbled across playing cards as a kid, without knowing how to play any games at all?
Well, Draw Hi-Lo is certainly a game you would come up with at that point.
As the name implies, the goal of the game is to guess whether the next card would be higher or lower than your current one. That’s all you need to know to start playing it. Here’s some essential information for a better game:
- Only a Single Deck of cards is used and is not shuffled during the round.
- Card Value. Ace is 1, the rest of the cards are in the usual ascending order.
- The Game. The player keeps drawing cards as long as every prediction is correct or in case of a tie.
- Side Bet. Additional bet on a tie for a single card draw. Doesn’t influence the game or the main bet. Players keep playing if the tie bet is lost but the prediction is correct.
- Payout. The payout for every prediction won is calculated automatically before every draw. Sometimes, depending on the chance of the next card being higher or lower. The player accumulates more and more bets as they play and can cash out at any moment. Tie payout is 10:1.
Draw and Deck
That’s the whole game – just try to guess if the next card is higher or lower. There is no game against the dealer and the Draw is really simple. Therefore, the chance of winning is way higher than in a lot of card games.
On top of that, only one card deck is used and it is not shuffled throughout the winning streak. This means that the more you win during a single round, the more you can count the cards.
That is certainly a chance you don’t get in most casino table games!
Top Card Trumps Rules
Top Card Trumps bears the same principle of origin as Draw Hi-Lo. Both origins are probably bored kids that don’t really know how to play cards.
The goal of Top Card Trumps is to get a card higher than a dealer. See what we mean?
Jokes aside, the game is really fun and fast-paced, with a similar high chance of winning as the previous one. Additionally, there’s a slight twist during the tie.
Here are some major differences:
- 6 card decks are used;
- Card value is the same as Draw Hi-Lo, but Ace is the highest value;
- Payout is 2:1, tie bet payout is 10:1.
Tie Rule
The most enticing part of the game is after a tie. You can choose to Fold the cards or to go to War with the dealer.
- After folding the cards, the round ends, but the dealer takes half of your bet.
- If you go to War, the bet is raised 1:1 to the original bet and placed on a separate Raise field.
- The dealer draws two face-down cards and one face-up card for themselves and one card for each player.
- Win, and you get the even amount of money placed on the Raise field.
- Lose, and the dealer takes the bet from both fields.
Unless you place a tie bet, there is more risk when playing after a tie. This makes Top Card Trumps a bit more challenging than other simpler games.
