Evolution Sees 73% Profit Increase in Q1 2019

Live dealer casino game provider Evolution Gaming has shared a report on the first quarter of 2019. The company’s profit has seen a roaring increase. Year-on-year revenue increased by 54% to €79.3m. Clear profit increased by 74% to the dashing €28m.

Evolution has recently entered the North American market with studios in New Jersey and Canada. The new market is the likely reason for such revenue growth. Company’s achievement was even noted with Content Supplier of the Year award from EGR North America.

Evolution itself noted that the success was due to “good leverage from investments made in 2018.” Apart from North America, the new market included Sweden. Additionally, new games, such as Live Monopoly, brought more revenue streams in Q1. The latter is just one from 10 other games that were revealed by the company at ICE 2019.

The above-mentioned new market entries have divided Evolution’s geographical presence. As a result, certain regions brought more profit to the company. In comparison to Q1 2018, the following parts of the world brought:

  • UK – 13% rise
  • Scandinavia – 9%
  • Rest of Europe – 49%
  • Rest of the world – 29%
