In card games, such as poker, the term garbage hand refers to a hand that has no or very little value to the player. When dealt a garbage hand, a player’s chances to win are extremely low. You are likely to encounter at least a few garbage hands during each of your gambling sessions.
What to Do When You Are Dealt a Garbage Hand?
In most cases, players will fold or surrender if they are dealt a garbage hand to minimize their losses. However, in games like Texas Hold’em poker, players may sometimes play a garbage hand with the hopes of bluffing their opponents into folding.
