ICE 2019 has just wrapped up in London and it was full of reveals, presentations, and announcements of the biggest companies in the industry.
SIS Reveal
Paul Witten, Product Director of SIS, announced that SIS Competitive Gaming had been launched and it’s the first betting eSports product.
In addition, he said that the research, conducted among operators and users, showed that people understand and want to make bets. Some don’t even play eSports yet, but they want to try it already.
Paul Witten also added that the launch of SIS Competitive Gaming promised to be a very perspective project.
SBTech Reveal
SBTech revealed Pulse, the presentation being headed by their CEO Dave Hammond and the boxing legend Tyson Fury. During the presentation, it was announced that Pulse will include sports betting, live casino, accessible to all providers, while any player will be able to win the jackpot at any time and completely by chance.
NetEnt ICE Reveal
As expected, NetEnt announced new slot games, based on the intellectual property of Conan the Barbarian and Ozzy Osbourne. NetEnt CEO Therese Hillman said that they were seeking brands fitting for slot games, during their annual of newly branded slots.
Scientific Games
During the announcement, Scientific Games unveiled a huge stand, where they had the chance to test the latest innovations offered by the supplier.
Tim Butcher, Scientific Games Chief Product Officer, is an experienced professional in the field, with his portfolio including work with Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Michael Dell.
Butcher described how Scientific Games tweaks their games before they are finally released to the public.
As an example, Butcher mentioned the Jin Ji Bau Xi brand, which they did well there in Asia. In order to appeal to customers around the world, they had to tweak it before release in the US and Europe respectively.
