Following the recommendations from the Responsible Gambling Strategy Board (RGSB) regarding credit card betting, the Commission is now taking action.
This is done for several reasons, one of them being to make a clear picture of the scale and risks of credit card gambling.
Furthermore, the Commission requires the operators to provide evidence of safety measures to prevent credit card gambling. In their view, there should be enough measures to implement proper limits until the player is fully verified.
According to RGSB, some operators might not be aware that the players are using credit cards for gambling. This is due to the variety of payment options in an online casino.
