In poker, no-limit refers to a betting ruleset in which there is no limit on how big of a bet a player can make. 

The abbreviation NL is used in both offline and online poker to signal that the table is playing with a no-limit betting scheme. For example, a no-limits game of Texas Hold ‘Em with a small blind of $5 and a big blind of $15 would be abbreviated as 5-15 NL.

Fun gambling fact:

The largest pot in the history of no-limit Texas Hold ‘Em poker was won by in London in 2010 by Tom Dwan during the Million Dollar Cash Game. The pot was a staggering $1,100,000 USD.
