Rambo and The Expendables Slot Games Might be in the Works

Looks like there will be some more film-based slot machines. This time, it will not be a one-off game release, like NetEnt’s usual branded work. Slot developer Skyrocket Entertainment has signed a licensing deal with Millennium Films for exclusive rights to their film franchises, which include Rambo and The Expendables.

The company would be a bit late to the party, as iSoftBet has already made Rambo online slot back in 2013. This was one of the earlier entries into the collection of film and TV-based slots, such as the recent Vikings or upcoming Narcos.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new slot games, as well as bingo and lotto are planned to be released in 2020, with development commencing in May.

What’s peculiar about Skyrocket is that it was founded in Cannes by iGaming experts and the film industry veterans, with the specific aim to acquire and distribute rights to films within the gambling industry. Stemming from that, we are not only likely to see Rambo in a new slot, but various other famous characters to boot.
