Danielle’s middle son is 19 years old. He is currently a college freshman, although he is yet to ever step on a college campus, having spent all of his time in college learning from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Slot Queen’s Illness

In July, Slot Queen was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a chronic auto-immune disorder.

The symptoms of Crohn’s disease include strong abdominal pain, fever, abdominal distension, anemia, arthritis, weight loss, and chronic fatigue. 

The exact causes of Crohn’s disease remain unknown to this day, but over half of known cases are related to genetic factors.

Slot Queen’s YouTube Career

Danielle’s YouTube slot streaming story started on August 24, 2017, when she created the Slot Queen YouTube channel.

Before that, she had been a long-time viewer of various slot channels and spent time in land-based casinos in Northern California.

Inspired by her YouTube heroes, Danielle started filming herself playing casino slots and sending the clips to her husband.

How It All Started

After this had been going on for a while, her husband asked her if she ever thought about creating a YouTube channel herself. She said she hadn’t. And that would’ve been the entire story if her kids hadn’t said anything about it.

But, being teenage boys, they decided to comment. They said that Danielle, who was 41 at the time, couldn’t become a YouTuber. She was too old for that.

Together with Slot Hubby, Danielle filmed and uploaded her first video. The pair truly enjoyed the experience of video creation. The duet then showed the video to their sons. Seeing it drove the teenagers crazy. Which only sweetened the deal for Danielle and her husband.

The pair decided to continue creating slot videos, picking up valuable skills such as editing, creating catchy YouTube titles and thumbnails, and capturing high-quality footage along the way.

And success didn’t make her wait long. 

Success & Recognition

On December 22, 2017, Slot Queen released what would become her most viewed video of all time. 

Entitled “Max Bet Big Win Quick Hit Slot Machine”, the video consists of an unedited fourteen-minute clip of Danielle winning over 50,000 credits on a Quick Hit (Bally) slot machine. 

Up until then, her videos would attract two to four hundred views apiece. This video, however, went on to amass an incredible 793,000 views.

And it was only up from there for Slot Queen. 

Where Is It Now

Her regular casino slot videos were now bringing in thousands of views instead of hundreds, and she managed to produce several semi-viral clips whose view counts measured in the tens of thousands.

The next six-figure video appeared on her channel on April 14, 2018. This time, Danielle was playing the high-volatility Buffalo Gold (Aristocrat) slot machine.

Around this time, Danielle started building connections with fellow gambling YouTubers.
